What you will learn:

By the end of this course you will be able to give a general description of how buildings are constructed and be able to identify common defects in walls and roofs and their remedies.
You will have the opportunity to do practical work on identifying different types of wall and roof construction, describing common defects and ordering appropriate repairs.


Designed for:

Housing officers, project workers, receptionists and caretakers who take repairs requests, as well as non-technical staff who inspect buildings or prepare works orders.

To secure your booking, payment must be received before the course date. 

Cancellations & Booking Transfers:

If you need to cancel a booking or transfer your booking to another date, we need to receive written notice from the person who authorised the original booking. Cancellations or transfers must be received by Upkeep in writing - via email info@upkeep.org.uk or by post.

If you withdraw from a confirmed booking for any reason and do not send a substitute from your organisation, you must pay a cancellation/transfer fee where it applies. The fees are based on how much notice we get before the course date and and a percentage of the price.
